i m nt gonna talk abt exams as it'll spoil my mood hrump

lol had a random talk wif zitao in the morning b4 exam today
was talking abt the recent death of Mr. Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam and abt PAP
then we talked abt the -ve impacts of setting up too good an economy in too short a time
focus on brain, in the end kana brain drain [lol xc kept forgetting abt this pt for human geog exam rofl]
nvr focus on social skills

ya la, some ppl sure zham me tt they hav social etiquette
mayb they rly do, or mayb some dun wan throw face
then y dun teach or encourage to do the same?

c la, education system focus so much on results, or 'exam-oriented' by Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratam in a interview wif US counterparts.
but nv focus on social graces
ok lor, mayb they wan us to find out and learn it by ourselves
but surely gt ppl dun bother/care/know how to go abt it wad
so they end up not knowing any social graces.
most of the time its those high-achievers [ no, i dun hav anything against high-achievers, just those tt look down on the less capable ones]
shudnt we try to help those that are less proficient in a subject than us?
is your desire to win overriding the desire to help others?
well, then i dun think these kinds of ppl should b lauded as 'good', 'zai', 'best'

smart so what, nvr help others, i deem u a failure.
