watched a movie abt crime prevention
at first the idea sounded corny, but after watching it i realized it has alot of meaning

the movie was titled 'after school', a local production =p
it tells of a boy and his older sister, parents divorced, sabo their lives, boy go wif mother unwillingly, elder sis stay wif grandma
later, their mum zao, so boy left wif auntie who smokes and a cousin who is a illegal bookie, so boy kana led astray
elder sis graduates, becomes a police officer, manages to convince her bro to come home

meanwhile, the boy has a fren who is v quiet and soft-spoken, and kana bullied in school for 3 yrs, the protaganist has a crush, but the crush always likes to shoplift, and is a bad influence on him.
protaganist's fren meets his cousin, and the cousin's frens [who are in a gang] and joins the gang, 'punishing' his bully.
bro gets into trouble wif law, sis tries to advise him not to do so.
cousin decides to turn over new leaf after talking to the protaganist's sis
protoganist's crush gets into bad company, in the end gt gang-raped by members of another gang and commits suicide
that same gang gt instructed by their ldr to atk protaganist's cousin bcos he tries to leave the gang, cousin ends up as a cripple, even tho he has turned over a new leaf ='(
protaganist's fren decides to take revenge for his crush's death, calls his 'bang'-s to get rdy to zham the opposing gang members

protaganist kana beset by so many family probs, bcos his aunt oso kana terminal lung cancer, cousin in hospital....feel v pek chek, go find his fren to vent frustration on the gang members who caused his crush's death

then gt marathon by the boy and sis luh....super lame, run until like x-country liddat o.0

ya, skip to fighting part, more interesting, opposing team member gt owned by fren's gang, the de-facto ldr [who planned the rape thing -.-] kana stabbed by the fren like dunno-many times...fren gt into stabbing frenzy, went for second round summore o.0, he zi-highed, in the end killed the guy, juz when the protaganist blocked his path, wif sis running behind [still =x]

yea, so the story teaches us to guard ourselves against many crimes such as joining gangs, stealing / shoplifting, raping and the -ve impacts when 1 tries to leave the gang

a very insightful show =)
