interesting how ppl act smart, smoke here smoke there, and ppl actually listen to their stupidity
case in pt:
the Bible has mistakes.
funny le, since the Bible is God's Word, and that God is omnipotent, wouldnt He have willed to preserve His words throughout the history of the world?
and if u say tt the Bible has mistakes, u r oso saying that God who created this world cannot preserve his own words?
then u might as well say tt u hav an imperfect Bible, thus it comes from a flawed God, since He is unable to keep it for us to read.
then y do u bother to believe in a flawed God?
if u say the Bible have mistakes, it attacks many doctrines of God, disputing His deity, resurrection, virgin birth, etc.
anyway, how would those 'Christians' who criticize the Bible know which part has mistakes?
unless they seen the 'perfect bible', but which person has seen it?
then gt so many ppl still believe their lies
want to act smart, go somewhere to do so, Christianity has been polluted by these kinds of 'theological professors'
interestingly, only the KJV Bible has no copyright, while other versions have.
wad right to mere humans have to put a stamp of their own on God's Word?
2 Peter 2:3
'And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.'
note the bold words, doesnt it remind u of the situation today?
ppl claim that the Modern English Versions are easier to read,
ha, funny, say KJV English so 'old and chim'
then y do we still read literature classics such as Shakespeare which also use the same kind of English?
when parents send their children to literature class, the kids say the language oso v complex, but the parents still force them to read it, to ace their exams
y cant we take the same attitude towards the Bible?
see, those ppl claiming tt the newer versions of the 'Bible' are easy to read, new and prospective Christians buy them, where does the $$$ go?
the translators, advertisers' pockets
i nt saying tt KJV is the ONLY choice, but it is the BEST and MOST ACCURATE translation of the manuscripts for the Bible
the translators for the KJV used the word-for-word technique, so the ideas and meaning of the words are kept most of the time, bcos translation sure lose some meaning here and there 1 wad
however, the translators for the newer versions use thought-for-word technique, which means that they can be influenced by their own life experiences, and change the meaning of the words in the Bible.
they might as well write commentaries -.-
but their thinking so screwed, no 1 will buy, so they decide to corrupt the Bible, to earn lots of $$$
money-grubbers
the pt of me writing this post is bcos i c so many ppl who r my loved ones using diff versions of the Bible, then their faith might b shaked, and they'll go back to their worldly ways ='(
i may not b perfect, so ppl might think i talking crap here, being a hypocrite
but at least i prevent ppl frm having their faith shaken
when ur life ends, where will u b? in heaven or in hell?
