u see, this world nw focuses on what u have achieved, whats in ur portfolio, what u hav done throughout ur schooling yrs

well, they left out character, how you treat other ppl, how u have helped to change the world ( sound cliche but i mean it in the literal sense )

job interview : check academic qualifications, check how many hrs of cip u chalked up, wad special programmes / overseas exchange programs u have been

conduct? thrown away to a secluded corner. employers take it as a given that u r like angels juz as long u hav qualifications.

so, u see ppl in working world kana backstabbed, sabo-ed, blackmailed
all bcos they wan to succeed and have a gd life
and it's further worsened by the fact that ppl of lousy character can enter workforce, bcos employers dun check 'character' on portfolios
so nw u know better y working parents everytime so stressed, bcos they kana injured in office politics or worse, trying to think of ways to sabo ppl

after reading part 2 of zitao's post on his blog, i gt more comments

i agree on that, look at many churches these days, nvr talk abt sin and hell liao. all pretend that humans are inherently good ( which is absolutely wrong )

ppl who take up religion for the wrong reasons will be punished severely as shown in the verse from King James Bible

Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

so frm above no faith = sin

note that zitao used 'superficial', he oso know that ppl want to do 2 things when they earn big bucks, to cover up any wrongs they hav done, as well as to make themselves look gd in the media and society.

think abt ur life, to be helpful or to sabo ppl for ur own selfish gain?
